The 1st & 10 Club is proud to announce New Horizons Credit Union as the title sponsor for the 2012 football calender.  The New Horizons Credit Union 1st & 10 club meetings signal an end to the dog days of summer and the beginning of the most anticipated season of the year for sports fans, College football!

Over the past 14 years the New Horizons Credit Union 1st & 10 Club and the GoDaddy.com Bowl have kicked-off the college football season with a series of weekly meetings that feature a very diverse group of speakers from across the country. The club boasts one of the best speaker schedules in the southeast with a diverse lineup of sports celebrities, college and professional head coaches, along with media personalities. Previous speakers have included Nick Saban, Gene Chizic, Leroy Jordan, Pat Sullivan, Phil Fulmer, Mike Gottfried, and Tim Brando, just to name a few.  The club meets weekly throughout the college football season every Monday night.

In addition to an exciting speaker schedule, New Horizons Credit Union will honor high school athletes and scholars for their performances on the field as well as in the classroom. Each week New Horizons Credit Union will recognize two outstanding high school football players, and  two exceptional high school students. Recipients of the  Scholar of the Week award will then be eligible for a scholarship that will be awarded the week of the GoDaddy.com Bowl at the GoDaddy.com Bowl Mayor’s Luncheon.
